“In 9 years of fighting for access to my child, the most fortuitous step I took was in appointing Ms Battie as my barrister. She is not only an expert in law, more importantly if she can see that a child’s contact needs are not being met, she will fight for that child, and there would be no better person to have representing you in court.
If you have become jaded with the battle for access, disillusioned with the court process or have come to the realisation that you need an expert on your side, I urge you to appoint Ms Battie. She is a one-woman legal “A Team”, and having her representation was the best decision I could have taken.”
“She has excellent advocacy skills, prepares thoroughly and really fights the clients case.”
“Eleanor worked with us on a child arrangements hearing which also incorporated a disagreement over schooling for my two children. Due to the level of parental acrimony, social services were also involved. From the very beginning and contacting her clerks through until receiving the outcome of the case Eleanor worked harder than I would have ever expected. Her levels of commitment and determination to know every aspect of the case and it’s history were commendable. Her pre-trial preparation and meeting meant I felt fully prepared for court. On the day of the hearing I was so impressed with Eleanor’s ability to articulate my argument and the swiftness of each and every response, especially when cross examining not just the opposition but also the social worker involved in our case. Working with new information as the hearing progressed but integrating it into our case as if she had been privy to it for an age. I will absolutely be using Eleanor again if the need arises and have recommended her to several friends.”
“Eleanor Battie was superb in every aspect of our case – her advocacy skills were exceptional and we were perfectly in awe of her in court. She was unique too in possessing a remarkable quality, that of understanding a highly complex situation both emotionally and practically from our point of view as parents. Whilst wholly alleviating the pressure and anxiety of all legal matters relating to our case, she also brought with her reassurance, wisdom and pure brilliance.”
“I am absolutely over the moon with the result and I feel that I definitely couldn’t have been able to achieve this without her help. She was understanding and so helpful and made sure that I knew that I didn’t have to agree with anything that I didn’t want to. All in all she made what was an intimidating situation for me manageable. She is kind and courteous but remained professional at all times.”
“Eleanor helped me with issues regarding my son. I was a complete emotional and nervous wreck when I came to Eleanor. Immediately Eleanor made me feel at ease, and grasped my situation so quickly and effortlessly. She put everything together in a very short amount of time and was absolutely fantastic throughout the process. In court Eleanor made me feel completely at ease and we ended up with a great outcome. Her attention to detail is excellent and I cannot praise or recommend Eleanor highly enough!”
