Alice accepts direct access instructions for education, inquests, and professional discipline/regulatory law.
She is adept at appearing in the SEND Tribunal, dealing with appeals in particular relating to children and young people’s EHCPs, including the contents of Sections B, F, and I, and decisions concerning the issuing and ceasing to maintain Plans. Alice also has experience in disability discrimination claims and judicial review arising from EHCP matters.
She was the sub-editor of The Right to Inclusive Education in International Human Rights Law (Cambridge University Press 2019).
Alice brings her clinical negligence experience when representing clients at inquests. She acts on behalf of families, NHS Trusts and medical regulators. Alice has also acted as junior counsel to the inquests in the Guildford Pub Bombings Inquests.
She contributed to the second edition of ‘The Inquests Book: The Law of Coroners and Inquests’.
Alice has acted on behalf of Registrants and Regulators across a range of regulatory bodies, and in particular as concerns Interim Orders and substantive hearings.
In 2025, Alice completed over 25 hours of pro bono work and was published in the 2025 Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales.
